This multi-phased project in downtown Tavares will expand and renovate the county Judicial Center. The first phase of the project includes a new 30,000 sf building for the offices of the County Tax Collector and Property Appraiser. Included with the office building is a new 1800 vehicle parking garage. A new central energy plant facility will be completed at the same time as the office building to service that facility.

The next phase will be construction of a new 288,361 sf addition to the Judicial Center. Once that is complete, another 120,620 sf of existing space will be completely renovated. The facility will be LEED Certified. Construction is projected to begin in June 2008.
