Green and sustainable construction should be an
integral part of the design and construction
process. More and more it is mandated by owners
who demand a high level of energy efficient
construction.
PPI has been a supporter of the U.S. Green
Building Council Leadership in Environmental and
Energy Design (LEED) process since the beginning.
In 2004, we delivered the first LEED Certified
County Courthouse building in the United States
for the Alachua County, Florida government, and
that was just the start.
We
require that every Project Manager become a LEED Accredited Professional and we encourage all
employees to obtain that designation as well.
PPI takes a whole building approach to the
construction process with an eye to minimizing the
environmental impact.
Our familiarity with the LEED process means that
we can help you reach your LEED goal and show that
sustainable construction does not have to add a
significant cost to the project.
