The new Suwannee Elementary School is located on a 37.5 acre site south of Live Oak, Florida. The school is a 765 student station, one story K-5 prototype design. Principal structural elements include a pre-engineered metal building and tilt wall concrete panels. The school will feature 38 regular classrooms, two ESE classrooms, teacher resource facilities, an art and music suite, media center, full kitchen facility and a multi-purpose dining and auditorium space and administrative offices. Site work includes a multi-purpose play space, parking, bus loop and chiller facility. The school will be constructed as a designated emergency shelter for Suwannee County.
