The project originated as a 25,000 square foot addition to the existing University of Central Florida Student Services Building and was expanded to include the renovation of 16,000 square feet within the existing campus bookstore.

The facility houses student services as well as offices for the Accounting Department. One challenge the PPI team was able to overcome was a shortened project schedule. The original schedule called for an eleven month construction phase.  After UCF selected a large firm to manage the new bookstore, the University asked PPI to reduce the delivery time to seven months while staying within the project budget. With detailed estimating and trade contractor input, PPI was able to accelerate the schedule and keep the project within the budget.
