The University of Florida men’s and women’s tennis teams have enjoyed many years of success and this small but elegant facility provides a strong visual and functional structure to accommodate them. This project provided  men’s and women’s lockers, showers and support spaces. The facility also includes a large dramatic conference room, coaching staff offices and administrative areas. The main interior corridor features an impressive display wall dedicated to honoring the extraordinary success of the university’s varsity tennis program. This visually striking facility incorporates strong angular shapes and brick patterns and a distinctive courtyard has been created adjacent to the playing courts.The work was performed on a constricted site in a high traffic area.
